Part-time work under D-2

Eligibility Requirements

• Those who attended more than 70% of language classes / has GPA of 2.5 or above in the previous semester
• Students who have attended the university for more than 6 months(Only for Language Trainees D-4)
  

  If you work without a permit, the employee and the employer shall be punished(Article 18) with fine and through examination, it will influence your status of stay in ROK (eviction, extension of stay, etc.)

Subject to Restriction

• Part-time employment activities at foreign language education-related facilities for minors (such as English kids cafes, English camps, language conversation academies, etc.)
• Special forms of employment
  • such as delivery drivers (couriers), dispatch riders for delivery services, substitute drivers, insurance salespeople, home study teachers, and door-to-door salespersons.
  • Employment activities based on dispatch, subcontracting, or brokerage relationships
  • Long-distance commuting to work (Rural area: Maximum 60mins)

• Application Form (Please download the form and type it, not hand-written)
• A Copy of Passport
• Alien Registration Card
• Certificate of Enrollment/Completion
• Transcript(Students taking the 1st semester after admission are exempt from submission)
• Confirmation for Part-time Employment from OIA
• Certificate of Business Registration – valid only with owner’s resident registration number
• A Copy of the Employment Contract
  

  Freshmen, sophomore: TOPIK Level 3 or more Junior, Senior, Graduate school students: TOPIK Level 4 or more
