CNU Global Education Center’s “Walking with a Native Speaker” English Program Well Received

Chonnam National University recently offered a unique lunchtime program where participants could practice English while taking a walk with a native-speaking instructor.

On October 30, the Global Education Center (Director: Won-Il Cho) invited Michael Duddy from the UK to lead a special session in which students, international students, and faculty members joined him for a walk around campus instead of sitting in a classroom. The program provided a relaxed and refreshing environment for natural English conversation.

Participants shared positive feedback, saying, “Speaking in English with a native speaker in such a free and relaxed setting made the language feel much more approachable. We hope to see more opportunities like this in the future.”

The Global Education Center plans to continue offering similar special lectures with native-speaking instructors throughout November.
