• 전남대 여수캠퍼스–장흥군, ‘읍내 STAY’ 성료

• 인구소멸지역 장흥과 첫 협력… 청년 정주 가능성 확인

전남대학교 여수캠퍼스가 장흥군과 함께 진행한 ‘읍내 STAY’ 프로그램이 11월 28일부터 29일까지 성공적으로 마무리됐다. 이번 프로그램은 전남RISE 사업의 일환으로 추진되었으며, 인구소멸지역인 장흥군과의 첫 협력 프로그램이라는 점에서 의미가 크다. 지역 체험을 기반으로 청년들이 전남 지역 정주 가능성을 탐색할 수 있는 계기가 되었다는 평가도 나온다.

프로그램에는 외국인 유학생과 한국학생 등 32명이 참여했다. 학생들은 ▲장흥군청 주변 환경정화 봉사 ▲(주)미풍 쌀도정회사·(주)에이블리컴퍼니 기업 탐방 ▲취업 특강 참여 ▲지역 특산물 식사 체험 ▲장흥 우드랜드 자연·문화 체험 ▲장흥읍 생활환경 탐방 등 다양한 활동을 통해 지역의 산업·문화·생활환경을 직접 살펴봤다.

전남대학교 글로벌교육원 방호삼 원장은 “학생들이 전남의 산업과 지역환경을 직접 경험하며 지역의 가능성을 폭넓게 이해했다”고 밝혔다. 김성 장흥군수는 “청년 인재들이 장흥군에 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

전남대학교 여수캠퍼스는 앞으로도 지역과 연계한 체험·진로 프로그램을 확대해 해외 인재의 지역 정주와 지역 활성화를 함께 추진할 계획이다.

Chonnam National University Yeosu Campus–Jangheung County Successfully Conclude “Eupnae STAY” Program

First Collaboration with Jangheung, a Population-Declining Area… Confirming the Potential for Youth Settlement

Chonnam National University Yeosu Campus successfully concluded the “Eupnae STAY” program in collaboration with Jangheung County from November 28 to 29. Implemented as part of the Jeonnam RISE project, the program is significant as the first cooperative initiative with Jangheung, a population-declining region. It has been positively evaluated as an opportunity for young participants to explore the possibility of settling in the Jeonnam region through hands-on local experiences.

A total of 32 participants, including international students and Korean students, took part in the program. Activities included environmental cleanup volunteering around Jangheung County Office, company visits to Mipung Rice Processing Co. and Ably Company, employment lectures, local specialty food experiences, nature and cultural activities at Jangheung Woodland, and exploration of the living environment in Jangheung-eup. Through these activities, participants gained first-hand insight into the region’s industries, culture, and living conditions.

Bang Ho-sam, Director of the Global Education Center at Chonnam National University, stated, “Students were able to gain a broader understanding of the region’s potential by directly experiencing Jeonnam’s industries and local environment.”
Jangheung County Governor Kim Seong commented, “We will continue to provide support so that young talents can settle stably in Jangheung County.”

Chonnam National University Yeosu Campus plans to further expand experiential and career-linked programs in cooperation with local communities, promoting both regional revitalization and the settlement of global talent.

全南大学丽水校区—长兴郡成功举办“邑内 STAY”项目

首次与人口减少地区长兴郡合作，验证青年定居可能性

全南大学丽水校区与长兴郡合作开展的“邑内 STAY”项目于11月28日至29日圆满结束。该项目作为全南 RISE 项目的一部分推进，具有与人口减少地区长兴郡首次合作的重要意义，也被评价为通过地区体验探索青年在全南地区定居可能性的契机。

本次项目共有包括外国留学生和韩国学生在内的32名学生参与。主要活动包括长兴郡政府周边环境净化志愿服务、参访美风碾米公司和Ablely Company等企业、就业专题讲座、品尝当地特色饮食、长兴 Woodland 自然与文化体验，以及长兴邑生活环境考察等。学生们通过多样化的活动，深入了解了当地的产业、文化及生活环境。

全南大学国际教育院院长方虎三表示：“学生们通过亲身体验全南地区的产业和环境，更加全面地理解了地区的发展潜力。”
长兴郡郡守金成表示：“今后将持续提供支持，帮助青年人才在长兴郡稳定定居。”

今后，全南大学丽水校区将进一步扩大与地方联动的体验型和职业发展项目，推动海外人才的地区定居与地方振兴同步发展。
