Korean Language Special Course
Korean language special course is designed for foreign undergraduate students, graduate students of Chonnam National University and foreigners residing in Korea. In the course, the students will learn the Korean alphabet, as well as vocabulary and expressions necessary for basic conversation in Korean. Level 1 and level 2 are offered.

3. Goal and Content

Level 1 |
Students are able to - read and write Korean consonants and vowels. - learn basic vocabulary and expressions to communicate basics in daily life. |
- Reading and writing Korean consonants and vowels - Greeting, introducing oneself, learning basic vocabulary and expressions, etc. |
Level 2 |
Students are able to - have basic conversations for everyday life, and simply express their thoughts. - write short sentences by learning basic sentence patterns. |
- Learning the basic vocabulary and expressions necessary for various places and situations - Understanding about post-positions and word endings, etc. |
4. Pass Regulation
To pass the course, students have to get over 60 out of 100 on the final test. Students are also required to attend at least 28 hours (80%). Students who miss more than 7 hours will automatically fail the course regardless of their current Korean proficiency level.
